i wrote a poem today. it's really sad and i cried when i wrote it, though i don't know why. i won't tell you where it's from or if it's my own experiance. i just want you to read it and i want to know what you think. it's called "In The Rain"

~In the Rain~

I see him,

Standing outside in the rain.

I stand unnoticed,

Hidden in shadow.

His grey sweatshirt hangs limply around his shoulders,

And rain is soaking through the white shirt underneath.

The cloth on his head is drenched and dripping down the back of his neck,

His platinum hair wet and clinging to his forehead.

There is a small break in the clouds,

A bit of moonlight filters through the sky.

It illuminates his delicate features,

And light's up his stormy blue eyes.

Face tilted towrds the heavens,

Drips of rain running down his jaw,

I see a tremble shake his beautiful form,

And tears run down his cheecks.

Slowly, hislegs give way beneath him,

He falls to his knees.

Arms wrapped around his knees,

Head bowed and shoulders shaking,

Heart-breaking sobs wrack his body.

I long to wrap my arms around him,

And kiss those tears away.

But I can't,

I can't do that anymore.

All I can do is stand and watch,

While tears of pain burn rivers down my cheeks.

Stand and watch the one I love,

Suffer alone,

In the rain.
